11/10, great season!

Very emotional rollercoaster. I love it.

With how much pain Thorfinn has endured, I'm glad he experienced some moments of true happiness, by seeing his family and all the people in Iceland. It was a very solid finale to give us the proper send-off and closure to the farmland arc, and to set up for whatever is to come next. Very glad to see how far Thorfinn has come and his journey will continue.

This has to be one of the most memorable Seasons of anime I've ever watched, as it was such a gripping, emotional roller coaster. Words cannot begin to describe how much this season of Vinland Saga has meant to me, and I'm sure it has impacted many others as well. I understand some may not enjoy it as much due to it being a much slower-paced arc, but I hope everyone found something to enjoy from this season.

Well ur correct about everything u said but the only reason Vinland saga viewers watched this anime was cuz of bloodshed and carnage and we saw how it went,only after ep 19-20 the fighting start.
I'm sure if someone tries to watch Vinland s2 all together they would drop it considering how much better s1 was.

Season 2 wasn't worse than 1, I thought it was a great continuation of the story! Not everything needs to have battles to be interesting.

Vikings weren't just warriors. They were tradesmen and fishermen and farmers, too. They had merchants and teachers- there was so much more to Norse culture than Vikings! Viking isn't even the proper name, it was a profession! How is it that you can see all the care and effort that was put into this show and only care about the battles? THE CLOTHING AND TECHNOLOGY IS HISTORICALLY ACCURATE!!!

It's common sense to have other professions in a cultural society so that's why I didn't bring it up.

How was Arnheiðr a hoe? She was literally a slave, she had literally no say in anything that happened to her! The one thing she could control was her relationship with Einar and that didn't even amount to anything, BECAUSE SHE DIED! Though I do agree that watching Þorfinn get his ass beat was the least fun part of this season. His healing journey however, was fascinating! Granted, he has a long way to go, but this season was a very interesting depiction of how trauma can manifest later in life when experienced during one's formative years.

Usually I don't comment, but this anime is one of the best I've seen when it comes to story telling. Very memorable and I can't think of an anime that has as much growth as this one when it comes to a narrative. I really hope there's a season 3. Also, can we talk about how great the music is in this thing. I think i looped the intro music multiple times before starting the anime. 11/10 for me

Don't worry, the series will go in a bell curve as far as violence goes that I can promise you. Most likely by the end of next season where the battle for jomsburg happens it will have some of the bloodiest most violent scenes yet
